Hi My Friends,

Do you know what is the most important thing that has caused most of the webmasters and bloggers give up, specially in the last two years?

Let me give you a clue.

In the last two years, search engines and specially Google have become so improved and don't rank most of the websites that they were used to be ranked before. These websites have a big common problem. Some of the webmasters have been able to solve this problem but most of them can not do that and so give up.

What is that common problem?

Yes I know the problem. This is a discussion board and I want to start a discussion. This will help all the members including myself to learn many things. You will see if you wait.

o0o0o, tell tell tell, I'll have a pop at the quiz and say people not knowing that links are the main thing that get you ranked

Ok, it seems nobody wants to give an answer in this forum. So I tell you.

Lack of unique, distinct and quality content is the problem.

Search engines are advancing to the status that only dynamic and active websites with unique content can be ranked.

This is what that is impossible for 99% of webmasters to have in their websites. So they have to quit whereas they were used to make money with their websites before.

So can you feed your website with fresh and unique content at least once every week or your websites content is duplicated and you fill the pages with others articles?

Well that's kind of right and kind of wrong.

Unique quality content is a basic must, however, I know of sites that haven't been updated for years that still rank well.

Monthly content additions will suffice. I have a client site that has absolutely stellar rankings for several important targeted searches. Beyond monthly content additions, we have been able to set it, and forget it.

No matter the changes in Google and other engines for over 4 years now, the client has retained these rankings without even a detectable bump. Why? The client took the time to give me quality, unique content and plenty of it. The regular updates and a few other things here and there over the years have been all we have ever done.

So yes, the Internet is about content, and that is how it should be. The fact that this client who worked so hard at posting a content rich site continues to increase sales each year tells me things can work based on quality content. Content is king. Without content, what is there to index?

Most of us have Affiliate Programs to promote so UNIQUE content is very hard to find.

And every one SUGGEST for UNIQUE CONTENTS.

I don't find unique content is difficult to find...it just takes work. I'm not in the affiliate game, but if I was an affiliate I would still be writing unique content to promote whatever the offer was.

I do agree that a balance of great copy and careful attention to other areas of producing a website are important, but, I don't agree that "only dynamic and active websites" are getting ranked well.

Sitting pretty here for years without lifting a finger on many sites in competitive areas. Granted that for the last couple of years I have found it harder to establish new sites, but once they settle they stick well.
